This animation I created in After Effects is a commercial for a campaign called «40 Tage ohne» in English «40 days without». The concept is to abstain from something completely for 40 days, whether it's chocolate, alcohol, soft drinks, or cigarettes.

The hole created by the shot represents something being taken away, something one is abstaining from. 40 Tage ohne once made flyers where the «o» of «ohne» was a hole in the paper. Connecting that with a shot cigarette was my idea. I created the cigarette in Adobe Illustrator. The font, logos, and the colors yellow and violet were the only specifications.
